SOS Família&Escola is the first platform in the world to support family and school relationships! There are more than 600 videos dealing with the biggest challenges that families face on a daily basis with school-aged children. Support for school and family, with a focus on the student’s full development!Our dream for this space is to be an oasis amid the turbulence that Educating Children in the Digital Era represents. Its being heard when there is so much judgment out there. Its being a flashlight when everything seems dark. Its being a hand that supports, an arm that involves, a voice that caresses.Meeting with parents is not enough to welcome, help and involve them as is necessary today. It is necessary to look at the family with a broader perspective, thinking about how to offer the resources so that the partnership with the school can actually occur.The most accurate indicator of a students academic performance is not related to social class or school prestige.Family participation throughout the learning process, with a special focus on the stimulation offered at home, is the factor with the greatest impact on a students success, according to international research.Even before the challenge we are experiencing today, with students growing up without an essential skill base for learning, the role of the family was already considered fundamental to the learning process.Despite this, the inconsistency of this family participation generates disorders and failures in communication between family and school. The result is enormous stress for Managers, Teachers and Families. Furthermore, the student is directly affected by the type of relationship the family maintains with the school and by the stimuli they receive at home.We are experiencing a situation of great challenge for families and schools: being able to keep students learning, despite the anguish and uncertainty that current times bring.The only way to keep students motivated and aware of their role as a student is a mission that can only be accomplished through a strong Partnership between Family and School.The question that remains is “what is the role of the family in this partnership?” Parents need help to know which postures and attitudes help their children to become responsible, persistent students, eager to take the lead in their learning process.Without a program that can guide those responsible on paths that lead to full partnership with the school, everyone is harmed: students do not learn, teachers become frustrated, managers become exhausted and families end up concluding that the school is not fulfilling its role .When guardians receive support to form this partnership with the school, the familys routine changes for the better. Children begin to have a more peaceful relationship and greater interest in studies. The school becomes a partner in the education that parents dream of for their children. Teachers and Managers are able to focus their efforts on improving the teaching-learning process, with the family as a partner.
